November 2009

From the 31 October the international art exhibition “RETHINK – Contemporary Art & Climate Change” will be displayed at some of Denmark’s finest art institutions.

The exhibition consists of 26 artworks created by leading Nordic and international contemporary artists, presenting different and new perspectives on climate and the environment.

More RETHINK has been nominated the "Nordic Exhibition of the Year 2009-2010" by the Nordic Culture Fund and will tour several cities in the Nordic region in 2010.

The exhibition is also part of the official culture program for the United Nations Climate Change Conference COP15, which will take place in Copenhagen 7-18 December.

The aim of the exhibition is to help the general public as well as the participants at the United Nations Climate Change Conference to understand the many complicated aspects of climate change.

RETHINK can be viewed at the National Gallery of Denmark, Den Frie Centre of Contemporary Art and Nikolaj Copenhagen Contemporary Art Centre as well as at Moesgård Museum in Aarhus.
