Cool Christmas dinner

Hotel Skeppsholmen opened its doors on 26 October on the charming and vibrant island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm.

The hotel resides in an 18th century building, once built to house Sweden’s Royal Marines.Surrounded by water, the hotel, which is a member of Design Hotels, conveniently rubs shoulders with the renowned Museum of Modern Art and the fascinating Swedish Museum of Architecture.

The celebrated and award winning designer and architect trio Claesson Koivisto Rune are responsible for the design of Hotel Skeppsholmen. They were the first Swedish architects ever to be exhibited in the international section of the Venice Architecture Biennale (2004) and among their commissions are buildings such as the Sfera building in Kyoto, interiors such as the Operakällaren gourmet restaurant in Stockholm as well as designs for manufacturers like Cappellini and Iittala.

Hotel Skeppsholmen serves a five-course Swedish Christmas dinner from 28 November until 26 December.Like all their food traditional Swedish cooking with a contemporary twist inspires this Christmas special.
