If you want to combine Norway’s stunning nature with music, Førde Folk Music Festival is the place to go. Her Royal Majesty, Queen Sonja of Norway will open the music festival, which takes place in Førde, a small town on the western coast of Norway.
Førde is only 150 km north of Bergen and is surrounded by fjords, mountains, glaciers and waterfalls. The 20th festival, which will be held from 2-5 July, will feature local and international artists. The festival program is full of variety and offers a wide range of concerts, workshops, exhibitions, children’s events and dance evenings in around 20 venues.
