The World Outgames – Copenhagen’s cultural melting pot

Australian tourists and athletes will soon be heading to Copenhagen to represent Australia at the 2009 World Outgames – 25 July – 2 August.

As Denmark is preparing for a mid-year feast of events for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community, August is the perfect time to visit the vibrant capital.

Outgames, the largest international LGBT multisport and cultural event, coincides with the international conference on LGBT Human Rights, Copenhagen Pride and the Out Cities project, making it one of the largest events on the LGBT calendar of the year.
