Nordland, which is located in Northern Norway offers one of the most exciting experiences in the world – killer whale safaris. From the end of October to mid January, between 500-700 killer whales follow herring returning to the fjords for the winter and you have the opportunity to swim or kayak amongst them! If you are unlucky and you miss them on your first trip, most companies have a whale guarantee and offer your new trip free of charge.
