Stars rain over Copenhagen

Copenhagen is regarded as one of Europe’s leading gastronomic capitals. In the new Michelin Guide 2009, Copenhagen has been awarded a record total of 14 stars beating other international cities such as Rome, Berlin, Vienna and Madrid.

In light of the modernisation of Nordic food, Copenhagen has its own food festival - Copenhagen Cooking. It will be held for the fifth time in 2009 from August 21 to 30. The city will be serving everything Scandinavian cuisine has to offer.
