The world's first amusement park on wind energy

Tivoli in Denmark will be the world's first amusement park to run on renewable energy. From 2010 Tivoli's energy consumption will be based on wind power. The goal is to reduce Tivoli's consumption of non-renewable resources and to ensure that the energy consumed by Tivoli is covered by CO2-neutral production facilities.

Tivoli is located in the heart of Copenhagen and has everything a tourist may desire from a fairytale garden with its 400,000 flowers, 110,000 lamps, 30 restaurants, 25 amusements, 150 concerts, artist shows and fireworks. Tivoli has been operating since 1843 and is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world.
