Långholmens Prison Museum

Långholmens, the green island in the middle of Stockholm, was once home to Sweden's largest prison from 1724 to 1989. The building has been restored and is now a hotel, hostel and a conference centre. A part of the facility is open to the public where you can enter the prison cells.
