Winter Activities

For Australians, Scandinavia equals cold and snow, but visiting this unique part of Europe during the winter season is an unforgettable experience.

Enjoy any type of skiing in northern regions of Norway and Sweden, from cross-country to telemark and snowboarding to off-piste. Ice skating on frozen parks and canals, ice fishing trips, glacier golfing and dog sledding to the renowned ice hotel outside Kiruna in Swedish Lapland are also fun winter activities to enjoy during your winter stay. It is also during the winter period that you can experience the Northern Lights.
