Lofoten Islands

Lofoten offers jagged mountains that experience snowfall even in the summer, small fishing boats floating on the ocean and picturesque wooden houses along the cost line.

Here you can watch whales between late May to mid-September, or visit Å, the endpoint of the European roadway, where you can get a glimpse of a traditional codfish fishery at work. Due to Loftoten’s beautiful scenery a lot of artists have been drawn here and as a result it has created a great arts community.

Lofoten is a very popular destination for hiking and enjoying the northern lights and midnight sun.
