Jutland

Jylland is a small peninsula sticking out of Europe that still bears many geographical features formed during the ice age, such as its desert hills in the northern area and lakes in the central region. You can enjoy farm stays and the leisurely life amongst its rural landscapes. Jylland is connected to Germany in the south and you can also fly to England by plane. Recommended sites and towns include: Århus, Ebeltoft, where an old townscape still remains, one of the earliest towns in Northern Europe, Ribe, Billund, the town of Legoland, and Aalborg, where renaissance-style chateaus stand.

Århus Gallery

Arhus Konst Museum launched in April of 2004 and is designed by architects Schmidt, Hammer and Lassen, who also designed the royal library (Black Diamond) in Copenhagen. The architecture is an experience in itself, but the museum also possesses one of the finest international art collections from the 1700 hundreds until today. It also has an information centre, library, art shop, café and restaurant worth visiting.
