Tour to a Deserted Eskimo Village

This boat trip takes you to Stephensen Harbour and the closed village of Niaqornat. Here you will be guided through an Eskimo village in Tuttutooq which is located on an island near Narsaq (southern part of Greenland) and learn the history and architecture of the Eskimos. Lunch and a guided tour is included in the prize.

Bornholm

Bornholm is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea, located to the east of Denmark, the south of Sweden, and the north of Poland. Its principal town is Rønne. The main industries on the island include fishing, arts and crafts like glass making and pottery using locally worked clay, and dairy farming. Bicycling around on the island is a popular activity to do in the summer. You can also enjoy yachting, fishing and golf. Highlights include: Hammershus Castle ruins (Hammershus Ruiner), Bornholm Museum, and Østerlars Church (Østerlars Kirke).

Narsarsuaq

Narsaruaq is a small community with approximately 200 people mainly employed at the airport or the associated hotel. It is an independent facility with its own power station, harbor and workshops. Narsarsuaq is located at the deepest end of the Erik fjord, which is located south of the island. Most people fly into Narsarsuaq when travelling to Greenland.
