Skagen
Skagen is a very picturesque town located in the northernmost point of Jutland. The beautiful landscape itself, created by yellow and orange-based houses with white windows and doors, soft sunrays, and the waters of two channels weaving together is like a painting, and has mesmerized many artists over the years. Recently, many tourists from neighbouring countries have begun to visit this town. You can see the great number of artworks, which stand on their own as a history of the town, at the Skagen Museum. A collection of the works produced between 1880 and 1930 by artists known as "Skagen artists," such as Hr.og Fru Ancher, Peder Severin Krøyer, and Christian Krohg.
It takes around 1h from Aalborg and 40 minute from Frederikshavn by train.
