Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory

Royal Copenhagen Welcome Center, Museum You can view the skilled work of designers of the world's top-rated product, Royal Copenhagen. There are also table-setting and paint courses that you can participate in. Inside the museum is an exhibit of products from when Royal Copenhagen was first established, you can also view the manufacturing process of ceramic ware. Second-rate products are also sold in the outlet shop.

Egeskov Castle

The Egeskov Castel is an ancient renaissance-style castle with a beautiful garden, constructed in 1554. The name Egeskov means "oak tree forest, "and is based on the fact that a whole oak tree forest was used as a foundation to build the castle. Egeskov Castle, which was originally built in the middle of a grand manor, still has ranches and farms around its periphery.

Trapholt Museum (Trapholtmuseet)

Trapholt is one of the largest and most popular design and arts museums in Denmark outside of Copenhagen. Opened in 1988, Trapholt is situated in beautiful natural surroundings, with a view out over Kolding Fjord. The Trapholt Museum exhibits works of modern Denmark. A furniture gallery was also established in 1996 and displays a variety of Danish furniture made after the 20th century.

The Round Tower (Rundetårn)

A cylindrical stone architecture made from red brick that was constructed as an astronomical observatory in 1642 by Christian IV. It is known as the earliest observatory in Europe. It is currently used as an observatory to view over the city of Copenhagen.

Japanese Garden (Den Japanske Have)

This is an amazingly beautiful and sophisticated Japanese garden. It includes several sub-gardens, a Japanese house, a tea house (chashitsu), a shop, and a café. The garden is particularly beautiful during summer and autumn.

Radisson SAS Royal Hotel

A 20-story high-class hotel of modern architecture, known as a landmark of the urban area. This hotel is the work of Denmark's master designer, Arne Jacobsen, and is recommended to those who are interested in northern European design. In particular, room 606, is the only room in which his design has been preserved without modification, and is open to spectators when it is not is use. The view from the observatory restaurant on the top floor cannot be missed.

Dansk Arkitec Center

Gammel Dok, a canalside warehouse built in 1882, was transformed into this center in 1998 and hosts many exhibitions on urban architecture. Its atmospheric interior includes a bookshop with many architecture and design-related documents, and a café adorned with white-based modern Danish furniture.
